What would you do if you really liked wearing something, but other people thought you looked silly whenever you wore it? What if they started calling you names?

Find out what Jimmy the Cactus does. Someday, you may decide to do the same!

Written and illustrated by an eight-year-old boy, Look at My Sombrero offers a valuable lesson – from a child’s perspective.

About the Author
“My name is Miles. I like video games, TV, writing what I please, and pizza. My friends rock. They’re the best bunch in the world! My life is good. Very, very good.”

Miles wrote and illustrated Look at My Sombrero when he was eight years old. Although Sombrero is his first published work, Miles has also written a class newsletter and several comic books…and designed his own computer game.

When he grows up, Miles plans to design videogames for a living. But for now, he settles for playing them as much as possible in his home (and on the go) outside of Richmond, Virginia.

25% of the proceeds will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters Services of Richmond, VA.
